How to Insure a Vehicle in Mexico

° Call 619-428-3963 (this is the Chevron gas station at the San Ysidro exit next to
the border)
° Tell them you want insurance (usually for two days, ex. 8pm Friday to 8pm Sunday).
If you have any problems with the person you are speaking with, tell them: “Joe and
Alan said it was okay to do it over the phone.”
° Ask for the “Trinity Church discount”
° Give them your credit card info over the phone. They will charge your card the
appropriate amount, and it is safe.
° Be sure to get the policy number and write it down, or you can have them FAX you
the policy. If you don’t have a FAX number, have it faxed to Rick Carter at Hands
of Mercy at 909 – 798-3830 by Friday at Noon.
° You must get the policy number if you are doing it by telephone only.
° In case of a claim- you must call while in Mexico.
